At the JSC "Kirovogradoliya" which is a part of Allseeds Group, within 2005 the works on development and implementation of quality control system according to requirements of the international standard ISO 9001 were held.

The quality control system of the JSC "Kirovogradoliya" for sunflower oil and oil meal’s production is certificated by two certification bodies:

• by the national body of Ukraine on certifications UkrCEPRO, the certificate is registered in the Certification System Register of UkrCEPRO on December, 26, 2005 with the number: UA 2.051.01761;
• and by the international body on certification SGS accredited in the Great Britain (UKAS), the certificate as of January, 17, 2006 with the number HU06/1682.

In 2004 the reconstruction of available capacities (installation of the boilers, capable to work on husk) has begun for supply of the JSC "Kirovogradoliya" by thermal energy at simultaneous construction of a new heat-power complex with the purpose of maintenance of the plant with electric energy and industrial steam due to full recycling of production’s waste – sunflower’s husk.

The construction of the own heat-power complex based on the JSC "Kirovogradoliya" has the following positive features:

• recycling of waste products of sunflower processing (i.e. husk) and natural gas consumption volume reductions;
• ecological safety of the project (fulfillment of conditions of the Kyoto Protocol) as the plant is situated in the city boundaries;
• implementation of energy-saving technologies (waste-free production) in conditions of catastrophic increase of the prices for energy carriers.

Taking under consideration the positive influence of this construction on an environment, representatives of the Group have involved experts of the Scientific - technical centre "Biomass" for development of implementation of the project “Recycling of sunflower husk for producing of  steam and electric power at the oil extraction plant JSC "Kirovogradoliya" which now participates in the tender of the Austrian Program of Projects of Joint implementation and Mechanisms of Clean Development (Austrian program JI/MCD) which realized according to the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change  (Ukraine had ratified the Protocol of 04/02/2004).

This project implementation will allow to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in atmosphere which are generated at warehousing and during taking-out of sunflowers husk and also to reduce initial energy carriers (natural gas and fuel oil) consumption.

The project has successfully passed the first stage of the Austrian program JI/MCD tender, the preliminary project validation have been carried out on greenhouse gas emissions by experts of the German company TÜV Industrie Service GmbH TÜV SÜD which results have confirmed an the project capability to generate the declared volume of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and namely 227.7 thousand tons of emissions reduction units (ERUs) of greenhouse gas emissions in recalculation on СО2 equivalent for the five years' period (2008-2012). The invitation for participation in the second tender stage is received.
